According to an article in Football Italian, the Bay Area Calligraphy Association has decided to cancel their conference this year.

According to a statement posted on the Facebook page of the association, they decided to cut their meeting to October because they were unable to pay their expenses.

“The Bay Area calligraphy association has decided not to hold its next conference after having been struggling to keep up the payments due from the owners of the organization.

They have decided to make a temporary stop, and we will try to come up with alternative ways of organising next year,” the statement reads.

“We are sorry for our absence and look forward to our next meeting at the end of the month.

We hope to organise a workshop in April or May.

We ask that we are given a little time to get our financials in order, and for all parties involved to put in their best efforts.”
